Carabao Cup First Round: Wrexham AFC vs Wigan Athletic

Ticketing and Entry

Gates for the game open 90 minutes before kick-off at the STōK Cae Ras. Please note that there will be no cash turnstiles in operation, so fans are advised to collect their tickets ahead of matchday to avoid queues. The Wrexham AFC Ticket Office, located on the Wrexham Lager Stand next to the Club Shop, is available for ticket collection. Alternatively, supporters can use the print-at-home/eTicket option to enter the stadium.

Print-at-home/eTickets

To ensure a smooth entry, supporters using print-at-home tickets should follow these instructions:

  • Print the ticket on plain white paper in its original size (A4).
  • Do not alter the ticket in any way.
  • Ensure the print is of sufficient quality for scanning at the turnstiles.
  • Do not fold along the QR code.

For those using eTickets on their phones, it is advised to load the ticket beforehand, ensure the phone has enough charge, and set the brightness to full. Zooming in on the barcode section can also assist the turnstile operators.

Specific turnstiles are designated for ticket holders of each stand: Wrexham Lager Stand (turnstiles 5-10), Macron Stand (turnstiles 25-30), and STōK Cold Coffee Brew Stand (turnstiles 36-42). However, stewards may direct supporters to alternative turnstiles to manage queues effectively.

Bag Searching

Supporters should arrive early as there will be increased strict bag searches in operation. Only A4-sized bags will be permitted and will be searched and tagged by security. All supporters entering the STōK Cae Ras will be subject to a search. Food, drinks (including flasks), and pushchairs are not allowed. A complete list of prohibited items can be found in the Ground Regulations.

Supporter Conduct

Wrexham AFC emphasizes the importance of supporter conduct and safety. Pitch incursions and other illegal and unacceptable behaviors can lead to football banning orders, criminal convictions, and fines for the club. The safety of players, managers, and supporters remains the priority. The club supports the FA initiative ‘Love Football Protect the Game’ and operates a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination. Supporters are encouraged to report incidents to stewards, the club, or Kick It Out.

No flags or musical instruments will be allowed without prior authorization. Supporters can contact the club at least 14 days in advance to request permission. The use of illegal substances, pyrotechnics, and the throwing of missiles are strictly prohibited.

Away Supporters

Away supporters enter the ground through the Wrexham Lager Stand, nearest to the STōK Cold Coffee Brew Stand, via turnstiles 1-4. They will also be subject to searches upon entry.

Parking and Travel Information

Matchday parking is available in the University car park next to the ground, with access via Plas Coch or Crispin Lane. The car park cost is £5 and is controlled separately from the Football Club. Additional car parks can be found on the Wrexham Council website.

For travel by car, the STōK Cae Ras is located on Mold Road, and the postcode is LL11 2AH. By train, Wrexham General Train Station is located next to the stadium. By bus, Wrexham bus station is located in the town center.

Hospitality

Supporters with hospitality tickets should use specific entrances depending on their ticket type. The Centenary Club entrance in the Wrexham Lager Stand is for Bamford Suite, Executive Room, and Board Room ticket holders. Executive box and 1864 Partners Lounge ticket holders should enter via the reception in the Macron Stand on Mold Road. Any questions regarding match-day hospitality can be directed to commercial@wrexhamafc.co.uk.

Match-Day Experience and Facilities

The Centenary Club will be open for ticket holders, and the kiosks in the STōK Cold Coffee Brew Stand, Macron Stand, and Wrexham Lager Stand will serve hot and cold drinks, alcoholic beverages, hot food, and confectionery. Cashless transactions are encouraged to improve service and customer experience. Match-day programs will be available for purchase around the ground.

Accessible Facilities

The STōK Cae Ras provides accessible viewing platforms for disabled supporters in the Macron Stand and STōK Cold Coffee Brew Stand. Wheelchair users should enter via gate 12 on Mold Road. Supporters with autism can use gate 12 for the designated quiet entrance. Radar locks have been installed in accessible toilets, and assistance dogs are permitted with prior approval.

Away Platform and Other Information

There is an accessible away platform exclusively for away supporters. Mold Road will be closed 15 minutes before the end of the match, and restrictions will last for an hour. Supporters are advised to take caution when leaving the stadium.

For specific inquiries or details, supporters can contact disabilityinfo@wrexhamafc.co.uk.

The club wishes all supporters an enjoyable game and matchday experience at the STōK Cae Ras.
