Planning Your Visit to LNER Stadium
Remembering Murph
Supporters of Lincoln City are invited to commemorate the life of former Imps manager Colin Murphy before the Carabao Cup tie against West Ham United on Wednesday night. Murphy, affectionately known as ‘Murph,’ was instrumental in building one of the best City sides of all time and led the club to promotion in the 1980/81 season. A minute’s applause will be held to honor his contributions to the club’s success.
University of Lincoln Fan Village
For those looking to enjoy the matchday atmosphere, the University of Lincoln Fan Village offers a wide range of food and drink options, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices. Tipsy Imp provides a selection of premium beers and ciders, while soft drinks are available throughout the fan village.
In the Centre Spot Tavern, which is open to home and away supporters, a discounted drinks offer will be available for 45 minutes starting from 5pm, with a pint of Stella Artois priced at just £3.50. Additionally, the Imps retail unit will be in operation, offering supporters the opportunity to purchase the club’s home, away, third, goalkeeping, and warm-up ranges. The Red Imps Community Trust will also have a stall with old programmes for sale.
Family activities
The Poacher’s Den, introduced by the club’s Foundation, provides a family-friendly area for supporters of both teams. Located at the north end of the GBM Stand and accessed via Sincil Bank, the Poacher’s Den features a pool table, putting green, speed stack challenge, and a new TV for FIFA gaming on the PlayStation. Other activities, including Xbox, table tennis, and fussball, are also available at every game. Free children’s football sessions are held on the 3G pitch opposite the SRP Stand for every midweek fixture.
Supporter liaison officers
The SLO team and the Here to Help team will be present throughout the stadium to assist supporters during the match. Matchday familiarization opportunities are also available for new visitors to the stadium, providing an overview of what to expect on a matchday. Alan Long, the head of the SLO team, offers a welcome video that guides supporters through the matchday experience.
Audio descriptive commentary
The Imps offer a free audio descriptive commentary service for fans with visual impairments. Headsets and receivers can be collected from the ticket office before the game. Fans are encouraged to bring their own headphones to minimize shared equipment. For any questions about the service, supporters can contact the disability liaison officer, Heidi Langham.
Teamsheet
A new and enhanced teamsheet for this season, featuring the starting line-ups and notes from the head coach, is available for purchase at all home matches for just 50p. The teamsheet can be found at various locations around the ground, including the ticket office, the Red Imps Community Trust stand in the University of Lincoln Fan Village, or from 50/50 draw sellers.
